We were asked to provide the location and fire effects for music video for The Japanese House's (Amber Bain) release 'Lilo'. Produced by Natalie Uglow for Familia Films
Project Details
The scene was shot in the backlot area at Artem's West London workshop.
We used a combination of propane-powered flame bars and 'fuel paste' to create a predictable controllable car fire that Amber and Marika could safely stand in front of while embracing.
Using this method gives the appearance of a raging fire but gives us control over the size and duration of the burn. This kind of fire is easily extinguished and has a minimal turnaround time.
