Heist Gallery

Fabric Vortex

explore project

We were very pleased to be asked to provide an ethereal effect for Maria Kreyn's Polyphony Exhibition at the Heist Gallery in London.

Project Breakdown

Working closely with Chudi Okoye from C projects we created a wind vortex column that let a dancer perform with fabric in an interpretive dance to launch the exciting exhibition.

Artem Designer Simon Tayler and senior Technician Matthew Beckwith configured 16 fans to produce a 6m 'vortex' that lifted and twirled the fabric as if it were another participant in the dance beautifully choregraphed by Chudi.

Artem are specialists in all sorts of immersive theatre experiences. If you are planning a similar project please get in touch with us here.
