Coldplay Flower Backdrop 'Head Full of Dreams' Tour Flock of Birds Touring Co.
Coldplay have recently been out and about promoting their seventh studio album, A Head Full of Dreams, and we’ve enjoyed spotting our ‘flower curtain’ backdrop on such shows as The Graham Norton Show and TFI Friday.
We constructed a 12m x 8m stringed curtain of coloured flowers, fabricated in 1m wide sections of 5 vertical strings, each mounted to lightweight rods for hanging. The backdrop was made up of approximately 2400 silk flowers, which were treated with flame retardant and finessed with spray paint before being organised into a spectrum of colours.
