Artem Case Studies
Massive Attack Flynn Productions
Flynn Productions approached Artem's creative designers to help them realise the fire effects envisioned by Director, Paul Gore, for Massive Attack's latest video, 'False Flags'.
'It was inspired by the recent Parisian riots and focuses solely on a young French/Arabic man as he ignites and throws a petrol bomb, wrestling between his anger and fear,' says Gore. 'Shooting at 1000 frames per second, each shot captures the intense emotion and detail of the moment, almost as if it were a series of still photographs.'
Artem's special effects technicians provided Molotov cocktails as well as all fire and smoke effects on the video which was shot at night in the grounds of Brixton Prison and has been such a success online that it temporarily overloaded the Flynn server!
However, you can see the finished video here.
The promo was filmed on Phantom V5.1 digital high-speed video supplied by GreenDoorFilms.
