Ultra Beautiful Game - Rain Feed Films Ltd

Artem were approached by Charles Henri Belleville to create a rainy scene for the new Sky Q Ultra HD commercial. Titled ‘The worst football team in Britain’ the ad saw members of a local football team playing horrendously badly in typical rainy Britain.

As the ad was filmed entirely in slow motion, our task was to produce enough heavy rain for around 20 seconds at a time, any wider shots digital rain would be used. Using the Artem Rain Kit Artem Supervisor Paul Gorrie and Technician Cecilia Ropolo were in charge of bringing the wet weather to the pitch. It just so happened that on the day of filming the UK was in the middle of an unusual bout of sunny warm weather.
