I Survived a Zombie Apocalypse Tiger Aspect Productions

'Artem worked closely with the Tiger Aspect team over an intense nine day shoot. The props and effects they built helped us create our gory, bloody post-apocalyptic world. The team were creative and responsive, adapting to developments quickly. It was great working with them.'

- Executive Producer, Sebastian Grant

'It's nice to finally have a game show where if you get a challenge wrong, you get your arms ripped off and your brains eaten out.'

- Executive Producer, Andrew Brereton

I Survived a Zombie Apocalypse is a reality TV show featuring members of the public battling against zombie attackers in a derelict shopping mall.

For the series, we provided a cadaver, a skeleton, body parts, fleshy bits and large volumes of blood, gore and gunge; we provided blood rig FX, big smoke FX and fire FX. The Artem team also handled all of the director’s requirements for each of the key ‘death’ scenes, on call.

The programme had to shoot straight through 9 days without a break. Alongside extensive forward-planning and organised preparation, the nature of the shoot – being a reality TV show – meant that the team also had to work with last-minute information, and worked miracles to very short timetables.
